1 – 5 Yrs of Priesthood & 1 – 10 Yrs of Oblate Brothers
The Young Oblates of the Province of Jaffna came together to meet and share their life and mission on the 29th July 2019. As it was scheduled they gathered at Nesakarangal, Iyakkachchi. Fr. Anthonymuthu, OMI represented Fr. Provincial at the meeting.
Very Rev. Fr. P. J. Jebaratnam, the Vicar General of the Diocese of Jaffna gave the spiritual talk on Priesthood. He, very specially reminded us that Oblates’ prime ministry is preaching the Word of God. Furthermore, there was a discussion about the relationship between the young diocesan priests and the young oblates.
After the tea break, there were sharing of life and mission among the members. With lunch, all dispersed to their mission places. It was a fine and useful gathering.
