In this Year of Mercy a new book viz. IRAKATHIN VERGAL (the roots of God’s mercy), is written in Tamil language by Rev. Dr. Stany Antony, O.M.I.
There are two main parts in this book:
The first part reflects over the present challenges of the kingdom values in today’s context. It challenges the existing Christian living where the Church has to become more cultic rather than “Church on the street” as Pope Francis wants it to be.
The second part explains the roots of mercy in the light of biblical, theological and pragmatic perspectives.
This book is very much received by the readers as it is relevant to this current Year of Mercy. It contains 100 pages and 1000 copies are in circulation.
