The Oblates of the Province of Jaffna recently concluded two annual retreats held from July, the 21st – 26th and July, the 28th -August the 3rd at Gnanodayam, Keeri, Mannar. These spiritual gatherings were led by Fr. Gregory Arokiyaswamy, the Superior of the International Roman Scholasticate, Rome.
Fr. Arokiyaswamy’s profound insights and guidance enriched the spiritual journeys of the participants. The retreats focused on renewing our Oblate vocation and Oblate Charism under the guidance of Constitutions and Rules. His presence and teachings provided a unique opportunity for reflection and spiritual growth, leaving a lasting impact on all attendees.
The retreats were marked by a series of spiritual exercises, meditations, and communal prayers, enabling the Oblates to reconnect with their vocation and strengthen their resolve in serving the community and the people of God. The serene environment of Gnanodayam provided a perfect backdrop for this period of contemplation and renewal.
