Amala Aruvi is a community development center located in Mullikulam, Mannar. The purpose of this center is to develop the villages which are around them by educating children and empowering youth to attain self-esteem of responsibility and create healthy families and societies. On the 30th of July Fr. Amathi Kalam conducts different programs for children at Kokkilai, Amathi Kalam has around 20 children, and they are coming for elocution classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Amathi Kalam also conducts educational programs every month for schoolchildren. They use their land for cultivation too. This time they have cultivated watermelon.
