From the 18th to the 23rd of May 2015 the Province of Jaffna was blessed with the visit of Mr. Cor Schouten and Ms. Sieni who are the Directors of HAVONOS (Hart Voor Noo[r]d Oost Sri Lanka).
As the name suggests it is an NGO that is custom designed to rehabilitate victims of war in North-East of Sri Lanka. Their main target was to visit the three projects they are generously financing: OBTEC at Kilinochchi, Amala Arivi at Mullikulam (Thachana Madhu) and the newly constructed Community Centre at Kokilai. They also encountered the administration of Jaffna Province to ascertain accountability and transparency. They were very considerate and wished good-bye with a sense of prospective cooperation.
