Nearly 59 Oblates from the province of Jaffna gathered this morning (25.02.2013) to celebrate the Oblate Day of the Congregation. It was a remarkable day in the Province as we commemorate 187th anniversary of the approbation of Rules and Constitutions of the Congregation. It was with the full renewed spirit, all the members of the province gathered at Thodarpaham, hospital road, Jaffna. After the tea, the common forum was declared opened by Father Paul Natchethiram OMI, the Provincial of Jaffna. Father Provincial was heading the forum in the morning and in the afternoon. The day came to conclusion with the solemn concelebrated Holy Eucharist with the renewal of vows.
