Around 20–25 Oblates representing the Oblate Provinces of Jaffna and Colombo participated in a National Interreligious Conference held on 5 November 2026 at Temple Trees, Colombo, with the participation of His Excellency President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
The conference was organised to mark the first anniversary of the national initiative, “A Whole Country Together” (முழு நாடுமே ஒன்றாக), which aims to rescue Sri Lankan society from the growing threat of drug abuse and the drug-related crisis.
